Library
Students participate in programs of study in music, art, library and Spanish as an enrichment of the academic curriculum. St. John Vianney School is proud to offer STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) inspired learning, which is made possible through the integration of the enrichment curriculum.
Art
SJV is proud of its art program. Throughout the year, students in TK-8th grade study the works of classical and contemporary artists from around the world. Each grade concentrates on a particular artist while examining their individual style and technique. Students then take their knowledge and create their own masterpieces using various materials.
Library
SJV School’s library encourages curiosity, innovation and problem-solving. The school library is a central point for all kinds of reading, activities, access to information, knowledge building, deep thinking and lively discussion. Research shows the significant difference well-resourced libraries can make to student learning outcomes.
Music
Another wonderful program at SJV School is the music program. Our music teacher brings the gift of music to our students. Each class in grades TK-8 has weekly instruction in music, during which they learn to read music, the basics of rhythm, and the joy of music. Students learn the music to sing during Liturgy as well as for upcoming seasonal celebrations.
Choir
Students in grades 2nd – 8th are given the opportunity to participate in the school choir. This program enables students to participate in school and parish liturgies.
